Half whisky barrel finds on our shopping trip
Hi friends! I was shopping at Hills Flat Lumber in Grass Valley, CA yesterday and found these adorable whiskey barrels. Hills Flat Lumber put flowers in theirs… And wouldn’t it be awesome filled with ice and drinks at your next party?
I love living here and how even going to the hardware store is fun. People are so nice and helpful and it feels like when I grew up in Elk Grove and the only thing we had was a tiny Ace hardware. Then all of a sudden you have big super stores like Home Depot that changed everything.
Hills Flat Lumber even had a cute little flower stand outside and I got some flowers for my kitchen.
I’m so happy to experience the old town charm again of a smaller hardware store. I might sound funny and I am so serious. Life here is a slower pace and I love it.
