Living in the Sierra Foothills of Northern California, is amagical region. From the endless outdoor activities to the vibrant small-town communities, there’s always something to explore here. Today, I want to share with you one of my favorite ways to unwind: visiting the incredible hot springs scattered throughout the foothills.

Grover Hot Springs State Park
Nestled in the heart of the Sierra Nevada, Grover Hot Springs State Park offers a unique combination of natural hot springs and a refreshing swimming pool. The park is also home to several hiking trails, picnic areas, and campgrounds, so you can easily make a weekend out of your visit. Situated near the charming town of Sierraville, Sierra Hot Springs is a popular destination for those seeking a tranquil retreat. The resort offers several soaking options, including outdoor pools with breathtaking views and an indoor meditation pool. You can also take advantage of yoga classes, workshops, and lodging options. A natural hot spring has been part of the Bowers property since the beginning and now funnels into a spring-fed pool open to the public during the summer.
